Introduction

Editor Mark Leddiard will be going into several Creative Partnerships schools in April to show young people how to edit and how to tell a good story using moving images and sound.

You can download clips of raw footage or rushes from the film in your own time, cut scenes together and then send them in to Creative Parternships who will then put them up on the website for others to be able to see. We will also send them on to “Damage”s film-makers who will include the best editing decisions in the final cut of the movie and the young editors of the best-edited clips will win the chance to visit the television set of popular TV soap 'Emmerdale'!

about the damage projectEven if this is the first time you have been involved in the film, don’t be scared, have a go and show us how you would like “Damage” to look!

This website is designed primarily for the young people involved in all stages of the film, to allow you to assist us in editing the material into a final feature film. However, it is not just for those young people who are already part of the project, if you are interested and want to get involved please feel free!

To make your mark on Damage all you need to do is download one (or more if you want!) of the rushes from the film and use your skills to edit it to be how you would like. Then send your scene to us at Creative Partnerships and we will upload it back onto the website. You will then able to download and watch the ten most recently posted scenes and access up to 100 older edits.

This is your chance to use your video-editing skills and incorporate your ideas into the final cut of a professional movie!
